Packing is where most moving damage starts. A box of plates packed flat, a heavy box of books under a light one, a lamp with its bulb still in. So we offer packing in three sizes and are honest about what each one costs.
Self-pack
You pack, we bring 20 double-wall boxes, tape and a roll of paper for free. Our only request: plates on their edge, books in small boxes, and nothing heavier than you would carry up the stairs yourself.
Fragile-only
On the morning of the move, two packers take the kitchen, glass, pictures, mirrors and lamps. It usually adds an hour and a half for a three-bed house and about £230, and it covers the things that break.
Full packing
The day before the move, the crew packs every room, labels each box and wraps the furniture. You leave the house as it is, keep out the things you need overnight, and wake up to a house in boxes. The kitchen is unpacked at the other end on the day.
