Terms of removal and storage

Your price

Home moves are priced after a survey. The written price covers the vehicle, crew and hours set out in your booking, and does not change unless you add goods or services after the survey.

Deposit and payment

A 10% deposit holds your date. The balance is due by bank transfer two working days before the move. Storage is billed four-weekly in advance.

Changing or cancelling

You can change the date free of charge with at least 7 days notice. Cancellations with more than 7 days notice are refunded in full; inside 7 days the deposit is kept.

Insurance and claims

Goods in transit are covered up to £50,000 per load. Items we pack are covered in full; items you pack are covered for loss and visible external damage. Report any damage within 7 days of delivery.

Goods we do not move

Flammable, corrosive or explosive items, gas bottles, fuel, perishable food, live animals, and cash, jewellery or documents of value, which you should carry yourself.

Storage

Containers are sealed at your home and opened only in your presence or with your written permission. If storage charges are more than 60 days overdue we will write to you before taking any further step.
